Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I download the template I purchased?
You will receive an email with the zip file of the template. However, you can also go to your order history to see all of your purchases.
2. I don't use PayPal. How else can I buy from you?
In addition to my webshop, I also have an Etsy shop and you can pay with a card there.
3. I don't like how the template looks on my blog. Can I get a refund?
No. Since all files are digital downloads, there are no refunds or exchanges. Please make sure you read all the information about the template and view the demo. If you have any questions before/after purchase, I will be happy to answer them.
4. Can I get a free template in exchange for a blog post about your shop?
No. While I love seeing my work on people’s blogs, I don’t give away free templates.
5. The template I have purchase has been updated. Do I have to pay to get the updates?
Absolutely not! All you have to do is contact me with proof of purchase (the receipt) + your blog url and I’ll email you the updated version.
6. Can you install the template for me?
Yes! After you place your order, you’ll be able to download a zip file with two text files and the xml file of the template inside (you have to extract the files from the zip). In one of these text files (titled “Free Installation”) there is a list of the information I need to install the template. If you have any questions before purchasing or you have requests about adjustments or changes to the template, let me know.
7. Can I edit the template?
Yes, but only via CSS. My templates are not compatible with Blogger's Template designer feature, so all changes have to be done with CSS. If you don't know how, I will be happy to help.
8. Can I remove the sidebar?
Yes, but only via CSS. If you don't know how to do it and keep the template responsive, contact me before/after purchase and I can either send you an updated xml file with no sidebar or remove it directly from your blog.
9. Can I move the sidebar to the right/left?
Yes, but only via CSS. All you have to do is change right/left in float for the .main-wrap and .sidebar-wrap classes in the template. If you don't know how to find them, I can either change it for you or send you instructions.
10. Can I remove the credits to your shop?
Only if the Remove Shop Credit add-on has been purchased. Keep in mind that removing the credit link without permission is against the terms & conditions of my shop and I will not feel obligated to provide assistance if you contact me with questions or requests about the template.
11. Do you make custom headers?
No. It's not something I enjoy doing. It would be better to get in touch with a graphic designer.
12. Can you make changes to the template for me?
Sure! Blog resizing is free. You can contact me with your request and I will get back to you with the final price. I will also provide a test blog, if the changes are bigger.
13. I tried to edit the template and made a mistake. Can you help?
Most of the time, yes. But if the result of your mistake is a broken template, the best thing you can do is upload the xml file again. Even if you are not new to coding, always experiment and make changes to the template on a test blog first to avoid problems.
14. I have been editing my posts from the post editor and they don't match the color/font of the template's demo. Can you edit my posts for me?
No. I don’t have the time to edit someone else’s posts. Never edit significant parts of the post (fonts, link colors, etc) via the post editor – if you don’t know how to do it via CSS, you can contact me and I will provide assistance, however, you will have to fix your posts by yourself.
15. Do you create custom designs?
Yes. For more information, go here. For a fast and smooth process, it's preferable if you have an idea about what you want. I usually do my best to be done in 1 to 5 weeks, however, it all depends on the size of the project and the communication.
